An AirJet X5 customer shares how his treatment experience changed what mattered to him in everyday brushing.
Recently, our team spoke with Mr. Bai, a RANVOO AirJet X5 customer in China, about his experience with the toothbrush. He shared how extensive dental treatment had changed what he wanted from his daily oral-care routine—and why cleaning performance now mattered more to him than ever.
Mr. Bai had undergone root canal treatment, crowns, an inlay and an implant, spending more than RMB 30,000 in total. Beyond the expense, the time and discomfort involved had stayed with him. Choosing his next toothbrush became a decision he wanted to make carefully.
Knowing what he wanted
Having tried other electric toothbrushes, Mr. Bai had a clear priority: a cleaning experience that felt thorough, with enough power to meet his expectations.
Positive customer reviews on JD.com and an interest in RANVOO’s AirJet technology led him to the X5. He wanted to find out how airflow-assisted brushing would feel in his own routine.
His experience did not begin smoothly. He reported that the air-jet function failed on his first two units, both of which were replaced. According to Mr. Bai, his current replacement is working normally. Those early problems remain an important part of his feedback.
Finding a better fit
With his current X5, Mr. Bai particularly appreciates the strength of the brushing action without an uncomfortable knocking sensation against his teeth.
As a long-term smoker, he had also been bothered by visible tobacco stains. While using the X5 together with Colgate toothpaste, he reported that those stains had not reappeared during his current period of use. This was his personal observation while using both products together.
There was still something he wanted improved: a single cleaning cycle felt too short for his preferred routine. He shared that concern alongside his positive feedback, giving our team a clearer picture of how he uses the product and where his expectations differ.
What made it worth choosing
Friends and family questioned the price, but Mr. Bai viewed the purchase through the lens of his treatment experience. Daily oral care had become something he was willing to spend more on.
He rated the X5 9.5 out of 10, describing it as his favorite electric toothbrush so far. Despite the initial replacements and his feedback on cycle length, he felt that his current toothbrush was the best fit he had found for his everyday needs.
